Working Collaboratively with our Employees
The Medford School District maintains labor contracts with two employee groups: the Medford Education Association, which represents our licensed teachers, and the Oregon School Employees Association Chapter 15, which represents our classified support staff.
The contracts establish pay, benefits and work rules that are fair for employees and support good service for students. Most contracts last from one to three years and expire on June 30 of a designated year. Contract changes are negotiated during collective bargaining and must be approved by association members and the School Board.
