School Behavior Matrix

Oak Grove Elementary has a successful school wide discipline model in place through PBIS (Positive Behavioral Interventions and Supports).  The staff works hard to provide a positive environment for all students with behavior expectations in all areas of the school.  The Oak Grove Ram's guildlines to success are:

REWARDS
 
Responsible behavior by Oak Grove students should result in good schoolwork, good friends and good feelings.
Oak Grove also rewards responsible behavior in these special ways:
  1. RAM Tickets
  2. RAM-OF-THE-MONTH awards
  3. CLASSROOM recognitions
  4. PERSONAL ACCOUNTABILITY REPORTS with report cards
RAM Tickets
 
PURPOSE:    To encourage the attitudes of respect, responsibility, safety, friendship, teamwork, and responsibility in the students of Oak Grove.
A RAM ticket is given to a student showing thoughtfulness, friendship, courtesy, kindness, and helpfulness.  Students can turn in their tickets for a variety of cool prizes or rewards.  A list of prizes will be available yearly.
 
RAM OF THE MONTH
Each teacher may choose a Ram of the Month.  Listed are some assorted criteria for being a Ram of the Month.  A student may only be awarded the honor once in a school year.  Students may qualify by meeting one or more of the following criteria
