2012 DuFour PLC Conference
Medford elementary school teachers participated in a local training on Professional Learning Communities (PLC) with international trainers, Rick and Becky DuFour. The training, hosted by Medford Schools in partnership with the Confederation of Oregon School Administrators (COSA), was attended by almost 600 educators from southern Oregon.
The Professional Learning Communities is an “ongoing process in which educators work collaboratively in recurring cycles of collective inquiry and action research to achieve better results for the students they serve. Professional learning communities operate under the assumption that the key to improved learning for students is continuous job-embedded learning for educators" (Learning by Doing, Second Edition).
This is the second PLC training that Medford has hosted for the region in partnership with COSA. Enjoy a few snapshots of our day with Rick and Becky DuFour.

Thanks, Rick and Becky DuFour. It was an amazing two days.
